He had joined the coaching staff of 3SC not long ago.

As of the time of writing, there has been no official information regarding the cause of his death.

Eyewitnesses informed PUNCH Online that during the team's training session that morning, he collapsed on the field and was quickly taken to the hospital.

Unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival at the medical facility.

Reports indicate that the former player and coach, who had previously played for Sunshine Stars of Akure, fell while actively training and received immediate medical assistance before being transported to an undisclosed hospital.

He had just been introduced as one of the coaches for the Oluyole Warriors after the club decided to part ways with the coaching team led by Gbenga Ogunbote.

The gentle and soft-spoken coach had a long history as a player with Sunshine Stars of Akure before transitioning into coaching.
