Crowd misconduct: NFF upholds N4m fine against Wikki tourists

The Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the penalty of N4 million against Wikki Tourists FC from Bauchi.
This information was released in a statement by the committee's secretary, Ms Queen Otarakpo, on Wednesday in Bauchi.
According to NAN, this action followed a complaint regarding their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) game against Katsina United FC, which took place on February 8, 2026, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS), Bauchi.
The resolution came during a gathering of the committee after examining the complaint filed by Wikki Tourists challenging the punishments previously enacted by the league authority.
The committee determined that Wikki Tourists did not ensure sufficient and appropriate security at the match, observing that unauthorized individuals were able to enter restricted sections after the first half of play.
Additionally, it was found that fans of the Bauchi team hurled hazardous items, such as stones, onto the playing field throughout the match.
