UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya declares self ‘undefeated’

Former middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya has stated that he will persist in his career despite suffering four consecutive defeats.
Adesanya faced a technical knockout (TKO) in the second round against American competitor Joe Pyfer during a UFC event in Seattle, USA, on Saturday night. Pyfer achieved victory by delivering a series of punches while Adesanya was on the ground.
At 36 years of age, Adesanya began the match positively, utilizing his skills and agility to dominate the initial round. However, Pyfer responded decisively, landing powerful strikes and taking Adesanya to the ground.
During the second round, Pyfer pressed Adesanya against the cage, took him down, established a superior position, and unleashed numerous punches. The fight was halted by the referee, Herb Dean, to ensure Adesanya's safety.
Following the match, Adesanya addressed the audience in a heartfelt discussion. He expressed his determination to continue fighting regardless of the circumstances.
“I will continue to rise again and again. I’m not going anywhere. You cannot stop me. I may face defeats, but I will always view myself as unbeaten,” he declared.
This recent defeat contributes to his prior losses against Sean Strickland, Dricus du Plessis, and Nassourdine Imavov.
The current streak of losses has sparked discussions regarding Adesanya's future prospects in his fighting career.
