Well-known actress Iyabo Ojo has addressed her fellow actress Liz Anjorin through a video, insisting that Liz should take responsibility if anything were to occur to her or her family. This statement comes amid Ojo's ongoing struggles and the threats she has been facing.
Earlier this week, a fire broke out at her office in Lagos; fortunately, there were no injuries reported. Her daughter, Priscilla, mentioned online that this fire incident was just one of several alarming occurrences that have posed risks to her and their family. Priscilla also highlighted an earlier threat letter received by Iyabo in May, which hinted at someone monitoring both her and her daughter's movements.
In her response, Iyabo posted on Instagram on Thursday, July 10, 2025. In a detailed message, she supported her daughter’s claims about the threats, revealing that certain individuals appear to be actively attempting to harm her and her family.
Part of her message included, “While the investigation is ongoing, I must clarify that just days before my daughter's wedding in Tanzania, I was sent a letter at my office that threatened my life. This letter clearly warned that I would face terrible challenges over the next three months.”
Under 24 hours after her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, announced the end of the N1bn lawsuit, Iyabo’s attention was captured by Lizzy’s post. In a video that she later deleted, Iyabo stated, "If anything were to happen to my children, Lizzy Anjorin should be held accountable... we haven’t even started any case; that was only ADR, and the case hasn’t officially begun."
In her video, Iyabo clarified that Lizzy would be responsible if any harm came to her or her family. She went on to emphasize that the matter was not a legal case yet, mentioning that it was part of an Alternative Dispute Resolution process, which had not even truly started.
Adding to the drama, social media figure Martins Otse, known as VDM, reacted to Iyabo's statement. He expressed surprise at her comments and hinted that he knew more about the situation than he was willing to share, choosing to stay quiet out of respect for the actress.
