In a video shared on his Instagram account on Saturday, he officially unveiled his new stage name, Bondu Alaska.
This announcement comes after his recent assertions regarding financial struggles and a public discussion with the founder of Wale Adenuga Productions, Wale Adenuga, concerning limitations on the use of the "Papa Ajasco" name.
“Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning to all Nigerians. I am Bondu Alaska, the one and only Bondu Alaska,” the established performer proclaimed in the popular video on Saturday.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the encouragement he received following his recent viral interview, stating, “I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Nigerians for their immense support in my life. I have undergone a transformation, and I assure you that I will not disappoint you.”
To emphasize this new phase, the actor has updated his Instagram username to @bondualaska_ and urged fans and brands to reach out to him through this fresh identity.
Even though the actor is eager to move forward, many fans are finding it challenging to let go of the nostalgic “Papa Ajasco” identity.
