Tacha Akide, a star from reality television and a media figure, has ignited a heated debate online by calling her generation of Nigerians the "most cowardly and dumbest." She criticized the popular trend known as 'Japa,' where young people aspire to leave the country in search of better prospects abroad.
In a passionate social media post, the former Big Brother Naija contestant, who recently moved to the UK, expressed doubts about the bravery and love for their country shown by today’s youth in Nigeria, making a comparison with past generations.

I truly believe we haven't just let down the future generation; we've essentially buried it.”
