Rihanna has once again grown her family by introducing a new daughter with her partner, the rapper A$AP Rocky.
The artist and entrepreneur announced the joyful news on Instagram on Wednesday, sharing a picture of their baby girl, whom they have named Rocki Irish Mayers.
The duo, who are already parents to two sons — RZA, who was born in 2022, and Riot, who arrived in 2023 — now have three children in total. Their daughter was delivered on September 13.
Rihanna, recognized for seamlessly combining her role as a mother with her unique fashion sense, disclosed her third pregnancy in May during her participation in the MET Gala.
The Grammy award-winning artist has frequently discussed her aspiration for a bigger family. In a 2020 conversation with British Vogue, she mentioned, “I’ll have children — three or four of them. The only thing that really counts is happiness; that’s the only healthy dynamic between a parent and a child. Love is the one thing that can truly nurture a child.”
At the age of 34, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who is 33, were friends for many years before they made their relationship public in 2021.
He has often shared his deep admiration for her, once referring to her as “the love of my life” during a GQ interview and noting that fatherhood is “definitely in my destiny.”
In April, Rocky shared with Vogue that his affection for Rihanna is “internal, external, infinite, encompassing both the past and the future.”
