Julius d’genius Agwu, renowned comedian and actor, has experienced the loss of his mother, affectionately known as "Mama Gee." He shared the news of her passing in a message on X, previously known as Twitter.

He expressed: “My beloved mother has departed to be with the Lord. Mama Gee, you will be profoundly missed. May you rest in peace.”
Accompanying the message was an old clip of Julius Agwu surprising her during a visit to the farm. She was startled and turned around, ready to defend herself with a cassava stalk.
However, upon realizing it was her son, her expression brightened, and she embraced him, subsequently bursting into laughter and dancing.
Julius Agwu did not provide any details regarding the circumstances of his mother’s death.
