MultiChoice Nigeria has revealed that the tenth season of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show will launch on July 26, featuring a double launch weekend on both July 26 and 27.
During a press conference on Wednesday, the organizers shared that this season's champion will receive an incredible N150 million, the largest prize ever in the show's history since its debut in 2006.
Beloved host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will be back to guide the show.
At the event, Ebuka emphasized the remarkable achievements of the show throughout its history. Over nine seasons, BBNaija has included 197 contestants, broadcast for a total of 709 days, and given away N637 million in prizes.
The previous edition, titled "No Loose Guard," added a unique element by requiring contestants to audition in pairs and enter the house as teams.
Eventually, they were separated and had to compete as individuals. Ultimately, Kellyrae won the N100 million prize, making history as the first married contestant to take home the title.
For the upcoming BBNaija season 10, the organizers reinstated in-person auditions, which took place from May 16 to May 18.
