Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has addressed the numerous romantic proposals she has received after her second marriage to Bobby Maris ended.

According to News, Uche disclosed on her Instagram account that in a single day, she had received more than 100 messages from men.

However, Ogbodo clarified that she is not inclined to start a new relationship at this time, expressing her desire to have some time for herself before entertaining any new commitments.

She stated, “This is unbelievable! It feels like these men have been searching for ways to reach me, because what on earth is happening in my messages? Gentlemen, please calm down! I’m not looking right now! I need a moment to relax! Receiving 100 messages in a day is simply too overwhelming for me, honestly!”

It is noteworthy that Uche Ogbodo fueled speculation about her allegedly failed marriage by sharing a number of heartfelt updates on her Instagram Story.

In one of her posts, Ogbodo raised concerns about why society deems it permissible for men to grow weary of a marriage, while women face criticism for expressing similar sentiments.

She openly shared that she feels exhausted and questioned why acknowledging such feelings is viewed negatively.

The actress further indicated that a woman's happiness in a Nigerian marriage often hinges on the right social connections. She challenged the notion that choosing to leave a marriage should be seen as wrong.

Ogbodo cautioned others not to push her past her breaking point, identifying herself as someone with limited tolerance.

Reflecting on her eight years spent in her marriage, she pondered whether people genuinely expected her to stay for 20 years or until her suffering became unendurable.
