Juliana Olayode, well-known as Toyo Baby from the Jenifa Diary series, has shared a frightening experience that nearly led her to join witchcraft. She advises the public to be cautious about seemingly innocent online content.
In a video she uploaded to her Instagram, Olayode explained that while watching a film on YouTube, she encountered an unexpected ad that encouraged her to click on a questionable link.
"I was enjoying a movie on YouTube when suddenly an advertisement appeared," Olayode reported. “It said things like, ‘If you've never broken a bone or experienced this or that, click here…’"
She disclosed that after clicking the link, she sensed a powerful and unsettling spiritual force.
“Out of curiosity, I followed the link and was shocked by what I discovered. I thought, oh my God, why am I here?” she recalled.
Olayode pointed out that the enemy can be very deceptive, illustrating how individuals can become involved in witchcraft through such seemingly innocent invitations.
The actress, who actively promotes faith, indicated that her experience was a cautionary tale about how spiritual manipulation often masquerades as curiosity, entertainment, or knowledge.
“Witchcraft exists everywhere,” she warned. “It frequently appears as curiosity, understanding, or amusement.”
She advised her audience to be careful with content that asks questions like “Do you know who you were in your past life?" suggesting that such materials exploit the spiritual unease many people feel.
“There is an unrest in the human mind. The devil is very strategic,” she emphasized, urging her followers to remain alert and spiritually aware.
The actress cautioned against falling for these digital tricks, as they are deceitful.
Olayode also highlighted the risks of mindlessly consuming media, such as films and music, noting that they can be subtle pathways for spiritual influences.
In her post, she remarked: “Witchcraft is now widespread; it’s no longer hidden, nor does it wait for midnight as many believe. Witchcraft surrounds us.”
“They operate around the clock, appearing attractive and making you feel you’re on the right path. It seems like fulfilling your curiosity, and it appears ‘good,’ but be cautious; not everything that seems good is actually good.”
She concluded, "Don't be deceived into believing you've lived before; nobody has."
Additionally, just because someone shares an experience that you relate to doesn’t mean it comes from a pure source. Have you thought about Acts 16:16–18?
“Be cautious about what influences you, who you surround yourself with, the spiritual gatherings you join, and the churches you visit; maintain a high level of caution and discernment.”
She pointed out that individuals often aren’t aware when they’ve become involved in something harmful, as this can happen unintentionally through their media consumption and activities.
“As I mentioned, you don't need to click on a link to become entangled.
“Many people might already be unknowingly drawn into witchcraft.
“It could have come from films they've seen, songs they've heard, books they've read, or even visiting a witch-themed shop with friends just to collect memorabilia from a movie they liked.”
“You might find yourself having unsettling dreams, sensing an odd presence in your space, experiencing sadness, feeling pursued, or hearing strange noises in your home. Anxiety and fear may become overwhelming.
“Some may be misled into burning incense to ward off negative energies, and yes, this is all a deception!!!”
She stressed the importance of spiritual vigilance and safeguarding oneself, particularly in today’s connected world.
“Such experiences might occur because you unintentionally allowed these spirits entry into your life.
“It’s essential to protect the gateways to your soul.
“Stay alert, pray often, and remain highly discerning.
“The adversary is always active; he works tirelessly and subtly, with significant resources being funneled into this agenda.”
Olayode wrapped up her message by reaffirming her belief in Jesus Christ.
“In closing, remember that the sole path to God is through Jesus Christ, His only Son.
“If you seek to know God, turn to Jesus Christ,” said the actress.
