Nigerian model and socialite, Denrele Edun, has opened up about his romantic life and sexual orientation.
In a recent appearance on The Moraya Show, the socialite expressed his struggles in finding love, emphasizing that his partners frequently fail to return his affection.
"I have not experienced much luck in love. Individuals like us, who possess an abundance of love to offer, often do not receive it in return. Therefore, I have sought it in various individuals and environments, leading me to the realization that I should prioritize loving myself at this moment.
"All my significant relationships have not unfolded as I had hoped. I have come to understand that focusing on self-love is more beneficial," he shared.
Edun asserted that he is not to blame for his romantic disappointments. "I am very easy to love. I have so much affection to share," he mentioned.
"Recently, while in a relationship, I noticed that whenever I make an effort, people come up with reasons to excuse themselves. This has been a recurring theme in my romantic experiences. While I provide clarity, they offer confusion. I express my dedication, but they do not reciprocate. Hence, I realize that this is merely a convenience for the other person," he continued.
The film star also elaborated on his sexuality, stating that he has enjoyed "the best of both worlds."
