Nigerian artist Olamide has clarified the misunderstanding surrounding his perceived shyness.
In a recent discussion with Ada’s Room, the rapper, who is also known as Baddo, shared that he is not actually shy, but rather “laid back.”
“One thing I wish individuals could grasp about me is that I am not shy; I am simply laid back,” he stated.
When the host inquired, “How do ‘shy’ and ‘laid back’ differ?” Olamide replied: “Being shy means lacking confidence and the charm to engage with people, whether it’s looking them in the eye or conversing with them.
“On the other hand, being laid back signifies that you simply prefer not to engage. Many assume I am shy, but that is not the case.”
