Ikechukwu Ogbonna, commonly known as IVD, an auto dealer surrounded by controversy, has disclosed that he has not seen his children since a turbulent conflict arose with the family of his deceased wife.
He mentioned that it has been more than three years without any contact with his five kids.
This revelation was made during his guest appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast.
IVD shared that he has been forcibly separated from them and has not had any communication whatsoever.
He voiced his worries about their welfare.
“They’ve taken my five children away from me. I haven’t seen them in years. It's been over three years now, and I have no idea how they are. I can’t even talk to them on the phone,” he stated.
He believes that the family of his children's mother has effectively excluded him from their lives.
Nevertheless, despite these difficulties, the auto dealer mentioned that he has discovered some peace alongside his new partner, relationship counsellor Blessing Okoro, who is also known as Blessing CEO.
When faced with questions regarding cheating accusations in his new relationship, IVD strongly refuted the claims.
“I swear, I would never do that. God forbid,” he affirmed, emphasizing his loyalty.
It’s important to remember that IVD's marriage to his late wife, Bimbo, ended in tragedy when she died in a fire at their Lekki residence in October 2022.
Their 16-year marriage had reportedly been plagued by domestic violence, with each blaming the other for various issues.
