Hold Ned Nwoko responsible if anything happens to my siblings — Regina Daniels’ brother
The continuous marital disputes involving Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her affluent spouse, Senator Ned Nwoko, took a new direction on Monday evening when Regina’s older brother, Lawrence Daniels, made multiple accusations against the senator via his Instagram story.

The continuous marital disputes involving Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her affluent spouse, Senator Ned Nwoko, took a new direction on Monday evening when Regina’s older brother, Lawrence Daniels, made multiple accusations against the senator via his Instagram story.
In an extensive online tirade, Lawrence charged the Delta North senator with hypocrisy and domestic abuse, claiming that Nwoko confessed to having slapped Regina "twice," insisting that his actions were meant as a way "to correct her."
"You confirmed to me that I slapped her twice, which any husband might do to correct his wife," wrote Lawrence. "But you went on Channels to claim I've never harmed a woman. How, my brother, how?"
He went on to accuse Nwoko of manipulating circumstances to suppress Regina and her siblings, asserting that their brother, Sammy, is presently in police custody at the Ogombo Police Station in Lekki-Ajah.
"Police are currently beating Sammy at Ogombo Police Station! This media dialogue will explode because everyone needs to be prepared to face the outcomes of their choices. If anything occurs to any of my siblings, place the blame on Ned Nwoko!" he stated.
Lawrence, who labeled himself as a “champion of peace,” explained that he had attempted to mediate privately in the family conflict but could not continue to stay quiet as tensions grew. “She [Regina] responded no, are you angry enough to arrest her sibling? Should we commend you?” he noted.
He further labeled Nwoko as “a narcissist” and asserted that he was using his political power to subjugate his family, warning that the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) would soon organize a demonstration at the senator’s home if matters do not improve.
These comments have ignited a wave of anger on social platforms, with numerous Nigerians demanding an independent inquiry into the accusations of assault and harassment.
This online exchange follows recent reports claiming that Senator Nwoko submitted a petition that led to the detention of Regina’s brother, Sammy Daniels, over charges of theft and defamation.
Attempts to contact the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, for a statement regarding the alleged arrest were unsuccessful, as messages sent to his phone had not received a response by the time this report was compiled.
Nwoko, who is currently serving as a senator for Delta North, has not yet released an official statement addressing the latest accusations.
