FIFA made the announcement on Tuesday, revealing that Davido will perform alongside Major Lazer, a music group led by Diplo, for the event scheduled on June 10 at the Crypto.com Arena.
This concert is a component of FIFA’s inaugural synchronized live entertainment series that encompasses the three host nations of the 2026 World Cup: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. More performers are set to be announced shortly.
"Los Angeles will host a vibrant celebration, showcasing Diplo’s Major Lazer and Davido, the initial artists revealed for what is expected to be a memorable evening filled with music, football, and culture," FIFA stated.
As per the international governing body for football, the Los Angeles concert will take place at the Crypto.com Arena, with entry starting at 5:00 p.m. PT and the live broadcast commencing an hour afterward.
The concert series aims to engage audiences from the three host nations through coordinated performances. Fans will have the opportunity to view live acts streamed from both Mexico City and Toronto.
"The Countdown Concert series highlights the enthusiasm, solidarity, and cultural ties that span across three countries and the globe, embodying the spirit of the FIFA World Cup 2026," remarked Manolo Zubiria.
"Just two days prior to the inaugural match in the United States, Los Angeles will present an extraordinary show featuring elite talent in one of the world's leading entertainment hubs, uniting music, football, and fans in a worldwide festivity as we gear up to welcome the globe."
FIFA announced that ticket sales will commence on June 3 at 10:00 a.m. PST. This event will be available for streaming around the world on FIFA’s digital channels, alongside a special social media livestream on TikTok. Additionally, fans can view the complete concert and behind-the-scenes content on VuMe Live the next day.
