Renowned Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has claimed that the entertainment sector is overrun by “demons” and was designed to promote “satanism.”
In a recent conversation with media figure Joey Akan, Iyke asserted that many individuals within the entertainment realm prioritize themselves and elevate their status as demigods, which he argues is a characteristic of satanism.
The film star shared that he used to believe he was exceptional because people would weep and lose consciousness upon his entrance into a room, but he later understood that this phenomenon was an indication of self-adulation after coming to know God.
He clarified that it requires deliberate efforts for those in the entertainment field to align with God, rather than indulge in self-worship or any aspect of satanism.
He stated, “There is no greater facilitator than the entertainment industry. This space is a residence for demons. Entertainment is entirely devised and directed to celebrate the values of satanism.
“What within the entertainment field honors God unless one actively or deliberately seeks him? Is it a life of excess?
“What values do we glorify that are aligned with God? I am not denying that God has a presence in the entertainment world, but I maintain that the industry is largely constructed for the promotion of satanism.
“As a creative individual, to create is to imitate God. Yet within the framework of entertainment, many focus on serving themselves. You cannot serve God while also serving yourself. This creates a fundamental conflict. Serving oneself equates to satanism.
“When you elevate yourself to a god-like level and feel that you deserve worship or that the rules no longer apply to you, you are, in fact, being worshipped.
“I have experienced this. I have witnessed individuals tear up as I entered a space and I would look at them thinking I am unique. But you are not.
‘Once you establish your connection with God, you will gain insight into what makes someone truly special. The real uniqueness comes from discovering God in a place that lacks his presence.”
