In a message shared on his X account on Monday, the musician, also referred to as OBO, stated, “I am excited to announce for the first time… Davido & Friends Festival.
“It will happen at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th.”
This event is part of the "Palace Bowl Presents" series, showcasing a diverse summer festival lineup at the open-air location in South London.
It is set to occur from July 31 to August 16, 2026.
Davido will be the main act and will organize the full-day program on August 14.
The performance is anticipated to include a group of “friends” who are yet to be revealed.
This announcement follows several months after Davido’s 2025 tour, which was aimed at promoting his fifth studio album, 5IVE, across various locations in Africa and Europe.
The acclaimed artist conducted 5IVE Tour shows in numerous cities, including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, between October and December.
