Nigerian artist Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, known professionally as Chike, has shared insights regarding the relationship guidance he received from his mother.
During a recent appearance on the Ada’s Room podcast, the musician disclosed that his mother advised him against marrying someone from a financially disadvantaged family or being with an unemployed woman.
Chike expressed that entering into a marriage with someone from a lower socioeconomic background might eventually lead to financial strain for him.
“I believe everyone should search for a partner who possesses worth. My mother, in particular, advised me to avoid committing to a woman without an income, irrespective of affection. She also cautioned me against marrying an individual burdened with family obligations, especially if she is the eldest and lacks productivity,” he mentioned.
The 33-year-old encouraged men to consider more than just physical appeal when selecting a partner, emphasizing the importance of marrying individuals who offer true value.
