British-Nigerian artist Darkoo, both a rapper and singer, has sparked discussions once more by sharing her bold view that ‘all women are secretly gay.’
During a recent chat with media figure Madame Joyce, the artist known for the hit “favourite” shared her thoughts on love. She emphasized that, despite what many believe, she is attracted to straight women.
“I’m into straight women, but it’s not about trying to change them into being gay; just consider my point of view,” she explained.
When I attend a party and notice an attractive girl, I won’t hesitate to talk to her, even if I suspect she might not be interested in women. I believe that if there's a connection, she will show it. My approach is always friendly; I don’t usually ask for their number and instead may offer her a drink.
It seems to me that many girls could be gay, and I truly believe this. Do you find a lot of girls attractive? I think about 95% of women might be attracted to other women, but they often haven’t encountered anyone who makes the first move. Numerous women are interested in other women. If a straight woman shows interest in exploring with me, I’m open to it.
The singer, who publicly came out in 2022 and has spoken about her sexuality openly, also mentioned how liberating it felt to tell her mother. “Ever since I informed my mum that I’m a lesbian, I’ve felt so much happiness,” she expressed.
