Naija News informs that the comedian made comments on a livestream Monday night alongside other content creators, where they were seen selling akara on the streets.
During this session, he touched on the rumors that the university was probing into his academic history.
He remarked during the livestream that individuals from Babcock trying to find him would face challenges, humorously stating that any visitor would need to pay a hefty price before gaining entry.
The streamer also indicated that he would be making a visit to the university in the near future.
Carter Efe stated, “Babcock, I’ve heard that Babcock is searching for me. You will not be able to find me. Before you can locate me, you must pay N100,000 for a ticket, and we will be visiting Babcock soon.”
The situation arose after he posted an academic document online, which he asserted was his degree certificate from Babcock University.
In the post, he claimed that he studied Biochemistry and achieved excellent results, utilizing the document to address those who questioned his educational credentials.
The document later ignited discussions online as users raised doubts about certain aspects of it, particularly the grading information stated on it.
The university subsequently issued a statement, clarifying that they do not acknowledge the classification referenced and cautioned that counterfeit certificates associated with the institution should not be accepted.
